🍂 Forest Finder Challenge 🍂
Think you can find your way like a true forest explorer?
Step 1 – BEFORE you start:
Take a selfie at the entrance of Calmeynbos with your “I’m-not-getting-lost” face. Confidence is key. 😎
Step 2 – DURING the walk:
Find 3 different types of leaves or trees and take a close-up photo of each. Bonus points if you give them a weird, made-up name! 🍃
Step 3 – AFTER your forest quest:
Snap a final selfie with your discoveries — or at a fun spot along the way (a bench, a little bridge, a pond…). Show us what you found!📷
Step 4 – Get your stamp!
Post your photos in a carousel on Insta and tag us. Don’t forget to include the ‘Lost in Panne’ names you gave your finds!
Cabour Museum
🗝️ Hidden History Hunt 🗝️
There are whispers of forgotten objects… clues scattered through time. Can you find them all before they’re lost forever? 👀
Step 1 – Get the Hunt Card:
Pick up your official Hidden History Hunt card at the entrance — it shows the symbols you’re looking for (but not where they are). 🗺️
Step 2 – Start exploring:
Search carefully as you walk through the museum. Look high and low, behind corners, under labels — the symbols might be tiny or disguised in unexpected ways. 🔍
Step 3 – Mark what you find:
Each time you spot a symbol, mark it on your hunt card. Found all 5? Submit the card at the reception.
Step 4 – Get your stamp!
Complete the hunt and collect your exclusive Cabour Explorer stamp. No phones needed. Just sharp eyes and curiosity.
Beach of De Panne
🏰 Lost Kingdom Challenge 🏰
Can you build the weirdest beach kingdom no one understands?
Step 1 – Claim your territory:
Pick a random spot on the beach and declare it your own kingdom. Bonus points if it makes no sense at all (next to the water? halfway up a dune? sure).
Step 2 – Build your kingdom:
Use sand, shells, seaweed, and beach stuff to create your bizarre empire. No basic sandcastles allowed — think: towers with three doors, crab moats, seashell stadiums. 🤯
Step 3 – Give it a ridiculous name:
Make up a totally strange name for your kingdom and write it in the sand. Then take a picture, post it online and tag us. Enjoy!
